I added --verbose to the kernel options but didn´t get any additional
information - --debug just shows me the line
init: job_process_handler

is verbose already included in upstart 0.6.6-2? I really try to help, but
obviously don´t know how. Maybe it´s just not worth the work, cause this is an
old version. Upgrade to 1.6.x from the unstable branch solves the problem.

Regards

Peter

Subject: Bug#694961: initscripts: Boot hangs cause of Init: job_process_handler
ignored event 1 ....

Would you be able to boot an affected system with '--verbose' on the
commandline and post the console output (screenshots fine)?  Otherwise it'll
try to find the time to reproduce it here.

This is clearly a partial upgrade bug, anyway, and probably needs a
versioned Breaks: from sysvinit-utils (or other related package) to upstart.
