Again. This is incredibly stupid, nobody in their right mind actually *wants* -mno-ieee for general-purpose code and it's not a sane default. Several other packages have already failed on alpha as a result of this when built with gcc-4.0. I'm cloning this bug to the gcc-4.0 package; I hope Matthias will be able to persuade upstream to apply sane default flags on alpha, or at least reintroduce the patch that was used to fix bug #212912 in gcc-3.3. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
