Erm, that's the wrong approach. If it's important (and it looks like it is) please get this fixed either through the security team (if the security implication is severe enough) or try to get it through the stable release team. As backports team member I strongly suggest to you to go that path. backports is the wrong answer to this issue. backports is about offering new features to the stable release, not about getting bugfixes done for the stable release - the place for those is stable updates.
