I saw that too, but I doubt this is a bug in dbus, it rather seems
another instance of #292388.

A better workaround, mentioned in #292388, is probably to use
DisplayManager*authName: MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1
in /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config, that works for me.
