Hi William, vinagre as well as virt-viewer (both using libgtk-vnc) crash when scaling is enabled with a Bad Color Error on connect on some platforms. While i386 with intel graphics works well I see problems on PPC (nVidia) and the bug reporter also sees the crash on AMD64. As a workaround I disabled buildling against libgtkglext which works around this problem but it would be nice to have scaling enabled. The reason I assume the bug is in libgtkglext is that using: GDK_GL_NO_STANDARD_COLORMAP=1 also cures the problem. Cheers, -- Guido
