So I'd like to know how you plan to handle this bug. FYI, only one of my Debian system (out of 6 machines) seems to be bitten #420390 (there is no /etc/texmf/tex/generic/config/pdftexconfig.tex but, of course, I can fix it if necessary ;-) but others look fine.
