Package: qemu-kvm Severity: important Ubuntu carries a patch called spice-qxl-locking-fix-for-qemu-kvm.patch which fixes https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu/+bug/723871 Can this be applied/carried in debian so that the qxl vga mode is not broken in qemu-kvm (in debian).
