Here is text from its settings-dialog:

This is an attempt to recreate some of the work of William Latham.
Take a look at the program 'organic art' at this site
(http://www.artworks.co.uk).

That screenhack obviously belongs to Debian-package called rss-glx .

I really don't know, if any of those problematic OpenGL-screenhacks
belong to XScreenSaver-distribution. It really takes much time to weed
out all of them from list of randomly chosen screenhacks, because that
lockup I told you, comes out of the blue when least expected. On the
other hand, I also have many non-OpenGL-screenhacks in that setting.

Or maybe I should do something like this:

1. Write down all my currently chosen screenhacks from that list of
randomly chosen screenhacks to some text file.
2. Disable all screenhacks from that aforementioned list.
3. Enable all screenhacks that belong to to rss-glx -distribution and
all OpenGL-screenhacks that belong to XScreenSaver-distribution.
4. Wait.
5. Whenever some of those screenhacks locks up my keyboard, rectify
situation with my netbook. Then write down name of that problematic
screenhack to some text file. Write a bug report about it to its
real maintainer. Disable it from list of randomly chosen screenhacks.
6. If there are still some screenhacks left, go back to phase 4.
7. If you see no lockups for very long time or you run out of
screenhacks, enable all screenhacks you write down in phase 1.
8. If author of some problematic screenhack has really fixed bugs of
that screenhack, you can enable it.

BTW This is from description of rss-glx:
