[...] Which clamav update would you be referring to? Packages in lenny haven't change in a while. Given the version of your clamav packages, however, you are almost surely facing the problem of clamav being disabled anyway via upstream's signatures. You might want to take a look at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=550296 and should switch over to the up-to-date packages provided in the volatile repository (see http://www.debian.org/volatile/).
