Maybe I'm too stupid but it seems I can't because of deugging symbols missing: "Reading symbols from /usr/sbin/mt-daapd...(no debugging symbols found)...done." Though the package seems to have been compiled with the -g flag (as debian/rules says...). Am I missing something ?
I haven't seen any -dbg package, so I've tried to recompile from source... but failed: config.status: creating contrib/init.d/Makefile config.status: error: cannot find input file: src/mdns/Makefile.in make: *** [config.status] Error 1 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2 zsh: exit 2 dpkg-buildpackage -b -us -uc I don't know what's going on !? The compilation flag --disable-mdns doesn't improve the situation. As I'm not a very good technician, I haven't dug too deep. So here is the (I assume) useless output of gdb: Client running [New Thread 0x7ffff7380710 (LWP 6753)] Initializing database Starting web server from /usr/share/mt-daapd/admin-root on port 3689 [New Thread 0x7ffff6b7f710 (LWP 6754)] Registering rendezvous names Serving 8531 songs. Otherwise, I stay available for further trials with some guidance.. PS: i've tried your forked-daapd package, and it works great !
