Could you reproduce the crash and provide a gdb backtrace? We need to
find out what crashes and where.

It's a consequence and not a cause. For some reason, bad DAAP data got
fed to the XML formatter. That should not happen, but if it does, it
should not lead to a crash.

Not sure what if anything will be the fix for this. This code is on life
support.
