since i can rule out user errors or wrong syslinux configuration (we're using the same theme package, so the config is identical), and given that as soon as you start memtest it's out of syslinux 'hands', this looks like a problem in memtest itself, therefore reassigning. > [1] As an aside question: Will this menu entry even show up if memtest86+ was > not installed?
