Package: syslinux
Version: 2:4.00+dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Hi Daniel,

out of curiosity I tried out extlinux today, installed it as my bootloader and
must say I was impressed by its straightforwardness. Then I proceeded as
suggested in /usr/share/doc/extlinux/README.Debian and downloaded the syslinux-
themes-debian-squeeze and memtest86+ packages. However, when I try to start
memtets86+ from the boot menu [1], the screen blanks and repeatedly prints new
lines with the string "2000".

Any idea?

Cheers,
Fabian

[1] As an aside question: Will this menu entry even show up if memtest86+ was
not installed? I'd consider this very inconsistent.
