Thanks for the report.
Is tpctl still useful to you? What can it do that you cannot do via
the ACPI or PNP interfaces (lspnp/setpnp)? What model ThinkPad to you
have?
The reason I ask is that it is becoming clear that the thinkpad modules
need to be rewritten if they are to work with future kernels. I am not
motivated to do this rewrite myself, especially because it is my
impression that thinkpad/tpctl is becoming obsolete.
