Package: postgresql-8.4
Version: 8.4.1-1
Severity: normal

When postgresql-8.4 is started it logs in main.log

2009-10-09 14:14:46 EDT LOG: paquet de d?marrage incomplet

(which means "incomplete startup packet"). This happens when installing
originally, as well as when reinstalling after a purge. It happens everytime
too. This makes it look different from #509216, and makes PostgreSQL look
fragile.
At the first startup, I also got "2009-10-09 14:14:47 EDT FATAL: le syst?me de
bases de donn?es se lance" which means "the DBMS is starting", just under that
message. It's strange to see this with a FATAL level.
