I think I fixed this one (but didn't document the fix) in 0.7.4.15,
which is currently in sid and waiting on the big GNOME transition to
go through.  I'll double-check.

In the meantime, try removing the "xpadding" and "ypadding" arguments
from the grid.attach() calls... something in the Gtk libraries seems
to dislike them.
