Package: texlive-latex-extra Version: 2007.dfsg.17-2 Severity: wishlist
I wanted to make a tex document with pdflatex and moderncv, however the provided examples do not work on debian because the packages are outdated. http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/moderncv/examples/ I ask on IRC #latex and they explained this, the example work with the newer version of the packages. The current debian moderncv version is 2006/09/09 v0.5 while there is a 2008 version.. The errors: ! Undefined control sequence. l.13 \moderncvtheme [blue, roman]{classic} % idem ? x I dont know why the packages are outdated but my request is to update the packages to the latest release.
