Hey folks, I just wanted to let you know that I have no capacities to follow this discussion right now. Uwe and I decided not to include the snippet in 0.7 because we felt that there was a need for further discussion, which I see is now happening. If you guys reach consensus, please don't hesitate to let us know, and then I/we will take a look. Obviously, a tested patch would be preferred still. :)
