Package: cups
Version: 1.3.9-15

Ok, with foomatic v4 now in the archive and this version of cups pulling it
in, #511009 is indeed fixed. That's great. Unfortunately, something else
is now broken.

If I take a simple ASCII text file and send it to any of my printers using
lpr, it comes out in a font that's huge compared to what I used to get, maybe
by a factor of 2 or so? As a result, text is clipped on the right side of
the page (even on lines that aren't near 80 columns).

I've gotten as far as confirming that the ps or pdf file fed to foomatic is
wrong, but I haven't figured out where in the text -> ps/pdf chain things
are broken.

Any suggestions?

Bdale
