I do have xdg-utils installed, wasn't aware there was yet ANOTHER screensaver 
provider after ditching xscreensaver AND kscreensaver. If I'm understanding 
what you are suggesting, I need to wait until there is a an updated xine-ui 
package in unstable? Sounds simple enough.
