OK. I ran into this because inn2 needs a recommends or suggests on libgd-gd2-(no)xpm-perl and was wondering if both variants should provide a pseudo package (as the regular libs do) to make such a dependency easier. But if the variants can be dropped, that would of course be simpler. Please remember to inform packages with reverse deps of the change if you do drop the noxpm flavor.
