The problem was that there were two interfaces to define the defaults, and two actions initiated when a medium is inserted. This leads of course to a lot of confusion since you think you have configured an action, and another one takes place. With both nautilus 2.24 and g-v-m 2.24 the only place to configure them is in the nautilus preferences. Cheers, -- .''`. : :' : We are debian.org.
