While trying to generate a kernel package with make-kpkg (kernel_image target, 
no options besides --revision) I found out that dpkg-deb blocks using 100% CPU. 
I found out a workaround, though: passing the -z3 flag to dpkg-deb makes it 
finish properly and timely.
