Package: pmount Version: 0.9.18-2 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I have my USB stick with LUKS encrypted partition and vfat fstype. If I do as root: mount /dev/sdc1 /mnt, I'm asked for a password. After entering the correct password, the partition is mounted without problems.
Pmount should be able to handle LUKS encrypted devices, too. If i do (as normal user) pmount /dev/sdc1, I'm asked for my password. However, after entering the correct one, I get the following error: L082689:~$ pmount /dev/sdc1 Password: mlockall failed: Cannot allocate memory WARNING!!! Possibly insecure memory. Are you root? Command failed: No key available with this passphrase. --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 Debian Release: lenny/sid 500 unstable ftp.nl.debian.org 1 experimental ftp.nl.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ================================-+-============= libblkid1 (>= 1.33) | 1.41.3-1 libc6 (>= 2.7-1) | 2.7-16 libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.0.2) | 1.2.1-4 libhal-storage1 (>= 0.5.8.1) | 0.5.11-6 libhal1 (>= 0.5.8.1) | 0.5.11-6 libsysfs2 | 2.1.0-5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
