Package: pkpgcounter
Version: 3.50-2
Severity: important

*** Please type your report below this line ***

The pkpgcounter currently in lenny doesn't seem to remove temporary files from /tmp and /var/tmp if /tmp gets full. It also doesn't honnor the directory setting from pykota.conf.

Also reported here:

http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.printing.pykota.user/5747

This appears to be fixed in svn:

r3460 | jerome | 2008-11-25 00:54:51 +0100 (Tue, 25 Nov 2008) | 3 lines

Ensures the temporary files are always closed (they should be anyway,
but it seems it's not the case for some people...)

I've tried the trunk version and so far no temporary files were left on the file system with this newer version.

Please fix this in the Debian package to prevent people from filling their disks. It can fill quite fast on a busy print server.

Regards,

Rik
