Since filing the first report, I did the following: * Rename ~/.galeon out of the way. * Fire up Galeon. Works OK. * Move newly-created .galeon out of way; reinstate original. * Fire up Galeon again. (There was also some monkeying-around with prefs.js, details sadly not written down.) Since then, I can't reproduce the fault either :-) . Unless and until I get a repeat crash or failure to print, I am tentatively deducing that the crashes from woody's version left some poison around somewhere which caused sarge's version to have printing difficulties, and that the above actions helped cleared things up. >> Not with the version of Galeon in sarge. Is this the version where you had the bug? I had the crashing problem with woody's version, and the printing difficulties (briefly) with sarge's. >> galeon/old_config_warning: >> Did this make its way to you in the original report? > > This is useless data, I don't need it. The fact that I got this warning was what caused me to experiment with .galeon, with apparent success. >> PPS: Please add one more vote in favour of having where tabs >> open on middle-click be configurable between just-to-right and >> far-right, as Firefox does with the Tabs add-in. I'll put it in as a Wishlist item. Apologies for shooting off my cursor from the hip.
