"You cannot print while in print preview" Just got it again, again with NewsForge (apologies for length of saga): * Started Galeon with "galeon -s" in one window, and "xtoolwait galeon" seperately in another. * Printed NewsForge article "Creating a custom live CD with Slax", using shell script which reduces to "psnup -2 | lpr -Pres". Success. * Tried to print "Pipes and filters", with same script; click on Print in print dialogue: get "You cannot print while in print preview" warning, and no output (apparently before starting the progress display). * Crash galeon process (^C in window where I started "galeon -s"). Restart; print "Pipes and filters" article using explicit pipeline as above: success. * Print article "Integrate Firefox with other tools" with same pipeline: Success. * Reprint "Creating a custom live CD with Slax": Success. * Reprint "Pipes and filters": "You cannot print while in preview mode". This is one of *those* problems. I can see why you can't necessarily see it. I've had a quick peep at ps's output, but can't seen anything obvious, apart perhaps from the total number of instances of galeon going down from nine (one grandparent, one parent, seven children) to four (two children), and I don't know if that's not perfectly normal. .... Now I seperately get a spectacular and repeatable collapse of Galeon whenever, and however, I try to print http://www.enterprise-security-today.com/story.xhtml?story_id=35800 I've preserved the backtrace, which is too long to fit in this margin.
