Surely not, but "preventive unfuzzyfication" may be done, by assuming
that all translations have a correct typography.
Bill, I can do it if you prefer.
("preventive unfuzzyfication" is indeed replacing the offending string
by the right one in the msgid *before* updating PO files. Care must be
taken for this, of course, but I've already done it dozens of times....)
