Thanks. There's a difficulty here which you may be able to help with.
userv is a rendezvous service. uservd itself will work if syslog,
home directories, uid/gid mapping, etc., are working. It will even
fail correctly and then start working properly later if at first some
home directories, uids, etc., are broken. (syslog is needed right
from the start.)
So perhaps a narrower set - just $syslog - would be more appropriate.
What made you say $remote_fs ?
But:
The services that users write using userv may depend on other things,
and because they are invoked via userv, they aren't explicitly
started. How is all this supposed to work ?
