Committed into my development tree, thanks for your input. One final question. If you read date(1) manual page, you will see that 'date +%c' should display output using locale settings. As date_fmt was introduced so that date output can be localized without this flag, I do not know why there are 2 fields, and maybe d_t_fmt (which is used with 'date +%c') has other uses. For instance in French, 'date' was badly broken and 'date +%c' was quite good. So I decided to fix only the former, and keep the latter unchanged.
