Package: abcde Version: 2.2.6-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I wonder why the command vorbiscomment to set ogg tags is not using the -R (or --raw) option as described in 'vorbiscomment --help' [0] (see line 332). Indeed, the same kind of option is used to set the flac tags with the option '--no-utf8-convert'. Is that just normal or a minor inconsistency ? mes 0.02â lerouge [0]: excerpt of 'vorbiscomment --help' Raw mode (--raw, -R) will read and write comments in utf8, rather than converting to the user's character set. This is useful for using vorbiscomment in scripts. However, this is not sufficient for general round-tripping of comments in all cases. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages abcde depends on: ii cd-discid 0.9-1 CDDB DiscID utility ii cdda2wav 4:2.01+01a01-2 Creates WAV files from audio CDs ii cdparanoia 3a9.8-11 An audio extraction tool for sampl ii flac 1.1.1-5 Free Lossless Audio Codec - comman ii vorbis-tools 1.0.1-1.2 Several Ogg Vorbis Tools ii wget 1.9.1-8 retrieves files from the web -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
