Package: linux-image-2.6.20-1-xen-686 Version: 2.6.20-1 Severity: important
After upgrading the kernel, the domU machine won't start. I've tried booting the domU with the new and with the older kernel, with the same result, it waits for about 2 minutes and finally says there is a problem with the vif0 hotplug script, which is expected, as the machine hasn't started. Booting with the kernel 2.6.18-4-xen-686 (dom0) the xen domU works fine. But I have some hardware that needs a 2.6.20 to work, so I really need the upgrade to work. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-xen-686 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages linux-image-2.6.20-1-xen-686 depends on: ii initramfs-tools 0.85e tools for generating an initramfs ii linux-modules-2.6.20-1-xen-68 2.6.20-1 Linux 2.6.20 modules on i686 Versions of packages linux-image-2.6.20-1-xen-686 recommends: ii libc6-xen 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries [X -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
