The etch Release.gpg has been changed, I have seen the file /var/cache/apt-proxy/debian/dists/etch/Release.gpg update to the latest version, aptitude complained a few times about an error from the apt-proxy running on two separate boxes, but it has now settled down and appears to be working with apt-proxy. Please close the bug report.
