Same problem here, and also in #395545, which provides more detailed
info (which is identical to what I'm seeing on my screen). See
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=395545 . I just
removed package 'spe' ("Stani's Python Editor") as suggested here, and
it's working. Of course python2.4-minimal doesn't include the editor,
it's just an overlap of names.
