The word "batave" is not recognised. Name of a tribe living in the
area of the delta of the Rhine (Netherlands) at the time of the
Romans, and sometimes used to say "Dutch" nowadays (like "gaulois" for
"French", "germanique / teutonique" for "German", ...).
