Hi Stephan,

I eventually have time to fix this. I decided to not print the message
in brief mode.

the option works fine on any non-upgradeable packages, but seems to
have no effect when the package is upgradeable:

(...)

$ harker: ~
$ absurd? apt-show-versions -b gutenbrowser
gutenbrowser 3:0.6.8.3-2.4 newer than version in archive

Hmm, I did not look close enough -- this package is not upgradeable
;(, a version previously installed seems to be gone from the
archive...

However, this is still printed to stdout, which breaks something like

apt-get install `apt-show-versions -u -b`

Maybe this could be seen as "error", as it is not an upgradeable
package, and printed to stderr, or not be printed at all?

MfG,

Stephan
