I file an ITP bug for tzint 1.3, a Tcl extension that wraps zint. This
version of tzin requires libzint2.16, which has been out for quite a
while now. I kindly urge you to package this version of the barcode
symbols library. Thank you
As written earlier in this bug, d/copyright for zint is in a very bad shape
and needs a complete rewrite. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the time to do
this, yet.
if you want I can send over my debian/copyright. tzint 1.3 bundles in
its tar.gz artifact the whole zint 2.16 code. In order to keep its
binary footprint small and have faster builds I decided in agreement
with Sergei Golovan ([email protected], who is sponsoring this
package) not to build the bundled zint code but to link it aginst
libzint shipped by Debian instead. Still in debian/copyright I had to
account for any copyright statement in the code even though it wasn't
built. So I'm pretty confident that my debian/copyright is a good
starting point.
As I said in another follow-up message tzint 1.3 requires zint 2.16
