Can you please provide the log form the apt upgrade to see if there were failures building the nvidia kernel modules? Otherwise we still would need full kernel logs up to when you were able to trigger the problem attached (means you might want to reinstall the ugprade again, or you can check the earlier boot from 6.12.100 in the systemd journal and provide that).
