The v1.4.x release family is stable, no API changes are made in the patch releases. API changes go into the future v1.5 release, which then can be installed in parallel based on the library SONAME. No updates to the debian build scripts where required to pull it up to v1.4.11. Except the version number in the /debian/changelog file... Regards, Julius Am Fr., 14.
