So python3-six is to be removed with the next update to Debian testing and unstable and replaced with python-pampy2? Well as long as it gets the Cinnamon Control Center to work again then that's all right.
I will test this out in the live CD of Cinnamon Debian Testing since I no longer have the Cinnamon Desktop because of the problem with the Control Center. So I replaced it with the Mate Desktop, which I don't want to change because I am happy with Mate for now. Even the software in the Cinnamon Desktop should be working and many people use that desktop. So it does need to be fixed so that the Cinnamon Control Center will work again. The suggestions you told me about worked but as python3-six is now going to be removed from Debian I hope that python-pampy which replaces it will work as well.
