Hi Andrea and Maxim,

thank you again for your input,

I know we did not reach full agreement, but I have uploaded an update
closing this bug, where I attributed es as the last choice for
text/javascript.

In my understanding, the information provided by the IANA does not
forbid us to associate files to a media type even if their extension is
not listed in the type's declaration. And in my understanding, an
ecmascript file served as text/javascript will be correctly processed.

I made my choice because I do not want to list obsolete types, and I
also do not want to leave the .es suffix abandonned.

Please feel free to challenge my choice, there is still time to upload
another update before the release. If you wish so, I would like to
suggest that you ask for broader support on debian-devel. I promise
that I will follow the consensus that (hopefully) emerges.

Have a nice week-end,

Charles
