virt-manager doesn't itself know about the various operating systems, it simply pulls this information from osinfo-db via libosinfo. AFAICT information about Debian 12 was added to osinfo-db in v20230308, while bookworm comes with the earlier v20221130. A targeted backport would be needed, but given the nature of this package perhaps a rebase could be justified (and useful) as well. -- Andrea Bolognani <e...@kiyuko.org> Resistance is futile, you will be garbage collected.
