These are only DE strict packages but full stack for DE and graphic part is huge.
If you don't have enough experience I think is difficult to debug or bisect with some mails.
One simple thing to check was screen settings, I already saw can be different on installation with multiple DE.
Another thing I saw using gdm as login manager is that force start of some gnome components and can override cinnamon settings even if never logged in gnome session since boot but only cinnamon, to exclude it I think is good to use lightdm as login manager instead.
