Well it seemed pretty convincing that it's the same bug, given that that behaviour has never occurred in all years of webext add-ons before, where these were always active right from the start. Anyway, it seems with FF87, Mozilla blessed people with further goodness and the old bug is also back again... at least I see add-ons like ublock or no-script ineffective, even though their icon is displayed this time... but they seem to actually get re-enabled, when one disables/enables them (I guess again, only in the very same session).
