Yes, it is. I had this discussion with upstream during the beta phase and he was adamant on the fact that /etc/tlp.conf must have priority over everything else. The default /etc/tlp.conf has every setting commented, hence the advice to make changes to the configuration only through /etc/tlp.d/*.conf. Since English is not my native language, I may have missed something here. Is your bug report filed against the respective priorities of the different configuration files, or against the NEWS entry itself that you find somewhat not clear ? Regards, -- Raphaël Halimi
