Package: tlp
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: important

Hi,

thanks for your work on tlp, much appreciating laptop user here.

One thing that bothered/surprised me with the update to 1.3.0 is the
NEWS entry:

Settings are read in this order:

  - /usr/share/tlp/defaults.conf (intrinsic defaults)
  - /etc/tlp.d/*.conf (drop-in customizations)
  - /etc/tlp.conf (user configuration)

In case of identical parameters, the last occurrence has precedence.

If this is true, local configurations as suggested in /etc/tlp.d/*.conf
will **NOT** override the Debian /etc/tlp.conf.

Is this intended?

Thanks

Norbert
