I'm not convinced this is a good idea, but maybe take it as a Debian .dpatch and see if people like it or not? I can see arguments for and against, but I don't seem to get ICQspam so I can't really say which way is better.

AFAIK the simplest solution is to just not set the "languages" setting in the ICQ profile to something common. I used to get spam all day, and it stopped at the day when i changed my languages from 'german,english,french' to 'Swahili,Somali,Khmer'. Since that day i don't need anti-spam anymore...
