So. From the backtrace I assume that you are backtracing a jackd you compiled yourself, correct?
Correct
If yes: how did you compile it? where did you get it from?
I used -
apt-get source jack-audio-connection-kit
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip sudo pbuilder build jack-audio-connection-kit_0.99.0-5.dsc
When did the bug appear? Did you upgrade? Did you try jackd for the first time?
I installed jackd some time ago, but wasn't able to build realtime-lsm-module till this weekend - so 0.99.0-5 probably isn't the first version on my system, but I can't tell when this segfault error appeared, since I couldn't get beyond mlock() problems till now.
I only recompiled jackd after encountering this segfault - in order to get a better (I hope?) stack trace.
Could you upgrade again? There is a newer jackd and libjack in unstable now. maybe it was some compilation problem.
Will do - new versions aren't available from my mirror yet - but I'll try soon as they are.
Thanks Robert!
Jack
