Hi Costa, thanks for this report. I already applied patch for the other bug report, but I have a question about this one: why do you want to also change "centimetres" into "centimeters" and "millimetres" into "millimeters"? >From what I understand the actual spelling is correct (British) english while you suggest to change it into american english. I browsed the debian policy and did not find any mention of the language we should use in manuale pages. I also find this interesting thread about web pages: http://lists.debian.org/debian-www/2003/04/msg00267.html Today I am appling just a part of your patch and leave "centimetres" and "millimetres" as they are.
