Package: spamassassin Version: 3.4.2-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream ipv6
Hi, the Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::ASN reports the wrong source ASN for mails received over IPv6 X-Spam-ASN: AS3215 2.0.0.0/16 Received: from puck.nether.net (puck.nether.net [IPv6:2001:418:3f4::5]) This is caused by SpamAssassin querying the same zone for both IPv4 and IPv6 remote hosts, and 2.0.0.0/16 translating to *.0.2.origin.asn.cymru.com which of course also matches 2000::/8. There is a bug/patch proposed in upstream bz, https://bz.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=7211 I've prodded them to commit it to trunk so it could be cherry-picked for Buster. Thanks, Bernhard
